Question about SF weapon unlocks on Vanilla

If I buy SF, will I get extra unlock points for BF2 right when i log on? The reason Im asking is because Im already really high ranked in BF2, and to get another weapon unlock its going to take a LONG time. If I install SF, do they refund my unlocks, or give me extras in any way?

if you buy SF (or have someone with sf play one round of sf on your account) you will get double the number of unlocks you have now. (for each unlock you have, you get 1 SF unlock).

When I got Special Forces and I logged on, I got two unlocks, then I believe later later on I got two more.
